Starting this year, the Motorway Company in England has decided to display traffic reports in several languages, including Romanian.

This decision was taken to help drivers respond better and faster to road works or traffic diversions.
Last year there were repeated false and dangerous manoeuvres, as foreign drivers could not understand traffic signs sufficiently. Traffic warnings are now displayed on motorway screens in German, French, Polish, Hungarian, Slovak, Lithuanian and Romanian. The system can even read license plates and identify the country of origin of the vehicle.
The system will initially be used on the M6 motorway in the Carlisle area.
