The 19th version of the Golden Stag Festival has chosen its winners, this time the Grand Prix goes to the young Italian artist Eliza G. with the song “romaneasca Creioane Colorate”, written by Feli.
She explains: “I am very happy and it is a great honour for me to receive the Golden Stag Trophy. I am glad to be in your beautiful country and it made me proud to sing in Romanian“.
In addition to the trophy, she received a cheque worth €25,000.
Eliza Gaiotto is an Italian singer and songwriter who started her career in 2009 with the release of her first single “Summer Lie”.
In addition to the Golden Stag Trophy, six other prizes were awarded:
The I. prize went to the artist Sara Blue from Austria.
The II. Prize was awarded to the Latvian artist Ralf Eilands.
The III. Prize was awarded to the artist Monika Marija in Lithuania.
Audience Award: Florin Raduta from Romania
Press Award: Syuzanna Melqonyan from Armenia
Award for best presentation: Alfie Arcuri from Australia
The festival began on Thursday evening, 22.08.2019 and brought great Romanian and international artists on the stage of the Brasov Council Square. The festival ended on Sunday 25.08.2019 with an extraordinary folklore show that brought traditional Romanian and modern music together.
