A graduate of Manchester University in June 2019 22-year-old Stefan Pricopie was named winner of the Global Undergraduate Awards 2019. It is known as the Nobel Junior Prize; at the Economics section. He won the prize for his bachelor thesis on public education and the “brain drain” phenomenon, informs EduPedu.ro, citing the website The Global Undergraduate Awards.

The prizes are awarded under the patronage of Irish President Michael D. Higgins and will be awarded in Dublin from November 11-13.

Over 3,400 people from 50 countries, from 338 universities registered in the competition.

Stefan Pricopie is the son of former education minister Remus Pricopie.
